Art in the Park is open to the public and admission is FREE. It’s the perfect event to enjoy a day filled with beautiful and unique juried art, a wide variety of children’s art activities, toe-tapping music and delicious food.

Artists will feature treasures for home, garden and gifts in metal, jewelry, painting, multimedia, even upcycling. Whether you’re looking for that perfect something that speaks to you, or just want to take in all the beautiful artistry on display, Art in the Park can fit the bill.

Plus, visit with our special guest, internationally renowned artist Larry Elmore, who will be joining us for the event again this year. Larry has been a masterfully creating fantasy and science fiction art for over 40 years. Since 1987, he has been working as a freelance illustrator, creating covers for comics, computer games, magazines, fantasy and science fiction books and many other projects. With a big heart for his community, Larry invests his time and talents to support the Food Pantry each year. He is a popular exhibitor as fans get to meet the man behind the amazing art.

 LOCATION and PARKING

Plenty of FREE parking, located centrally at James D Beville City Park in Leitchfield. Look for signs to our location just above the Pavilion area, with easy access from Wallace Avenue, near the Leitchfield Aquatic Center.  For a more detailed view, just click here.

 ENTERTAINMENT and ACTIVITIES

Enjoy non-stop entertainment throughout the day, with a variety of musical acts to please every taste. View artist schedule. On Stage 2021

Young budding artists can create to their heart’s content in our Children’s Pavilion, where local artist and teacher Jackie Pierce will host three special art projects:

10am and 2 pm – Journey Sticks     12:30 – Rock Painting
